Woven Wire Screen

Woven wire screen is a type of screen woven of metal wires. It is the most common screen that can be used in almost every industry.
※ We can make the hooks used on vibrating screens and the cambers used on trommels.

Plain woven wire screens(Material:SWRH62A SUS304)
They are made with a common weave method, which is normally suitable to those small openings whose side lengths are less than 10mm.
Flat-top woven wire screens(Material:SWRH62A SUS304)
This type of screens have flat surface. They are made with a special crimping weave method which is mainly suitable to those big openings whose side lengths are more than 10mm.
Ton-cap woven wire screens(Material:SWRH62A SUS304)
This type of screens have rectangle openings. And their screening efficiency can be enhanced by the increased screening space.

Woven Wire Screens on Vibrating Screens

Woven wire screens are made of steel wires (hard steel wires and stainless steel wires, etc). Based on different weave methods, there are several types of woven wire screens available used on vibrating screens: plain wave, arch crimp, flat-top, and ton-cap. According to screening object size, quantity and vibrating screen type, we can select the best product to suit customer’s need.

Designing of Tensioning Edges

In order to increase screen’s durability, it is necessary to choose the most suitable tensioning edge considering screen body and wire diameter.
